We are a Christian, homeschooling family, and strive to follow God's word in our everyday lives. Michael spent the first four years of his life in Pennsylvania, until his parents moved him and his family to Iowa in answer to a call for aid in some church work. He spent most of the rest of his single years in Iowa with the exception of a few mission trips to Haiti. He along with his parents raised Bernese Mountain Dogs on their home farm for many years. Cherise was born in Pennsylvania as well but raised in Ohio and also spent some time helping at an orphanage in Haiti. She along with her parents raised Shiba Inus. In 2013 we found ourselves attracted to each other and got married in Jan of 2014. We lived in Iowa for the first five years of our married lives raising dogs, doing some construction work and some custom farm work on the side. In 2018 we were asked if we'd be willing to move to Haiti as a family to do some mission work among the natives there. After praying and visiting a few times we felt it was God leading us there. So, in Jan of 2019 we moved to the Artibonite department of Haiti. We worked in a program teaching biblical teaching and also helping them learn how to save money and start and operate their own businesses and become less depended on outside aid. In July of 2021 we moved back to Iowa due to extreme political unrest in Haiti. The program there is still active and growing with only native staff on the ground. Even though there were many difficulties along the way we are grateful for the opportunity to be able to serve in this way and look back to our time in Haiti with many fond memories. We have lived here in Iowa ever since and are looking forward to what God has in store for us next. We love the Lord and consider our lives here on planet Earth as a preparation for the next life (eternity).  If you are interested in learning more about God and his purpose for your life, please don't hesitate to ask!

We having been raising top quality Bernese for quite a few years now and are ever trying to raise the bar for healthy, genetically sound, puppies. Maintaining and raising healthy Bernese is a work of art that is ever changing! We have been "weeding" out unwanted genetics and integrating desirable traits and healthy genetics for years! Like I said before, it is a work of art, and not always easy and definitely does not happen overnight. We believe and are convinced that, because of our hard work in raising the bar, we have some of the best bloodlines available.
